• Helps with weight management, and weight loss by:
– Shuts down our hunger hormones so helps with appetite control
– Increases calories burnt, so aids fat burning

Go forth and flourish, eat cold spuds.

Wait… these will make me fat! Won’t they?

No, they won’t because it is what you put on them that does that.

Cook your spuds ‘natural’, do not put oil or fat on them, it is this combination that causes you to gain weight. Just scrub and wash them, place them in the oven and cook for 30-60 minutes, depending on their size, allow to cool, and eat with salt or your favourite salsa. No fat or oil or butter or cream or cheese. Just plain; and at least 5 hours away from any form of fat. This is important.

Enjoy a healthy happy winter.

PS. If you find yourself having succumbed to a virus or a winter illness, and you have taken a course of antibiotics, eating cold spuds will re-inoculate your gut bacteria. A must to have after all antibiotics, for at least 7 – 10 days.
